היום נתקלתי בשגיאה שהופיעה ב- Health Analyzer Reports שנמצא ב- Monitorong.

משמעות השגיאה היא שגודל קובץ ההחלפה בשרתים בחווה SharePoint הוא קטן יותר מהזיכרון הפיזי הכולל שזמין בשרתים.

Windows  קובע את גודל קובץ ההחלפה לערך ששווה או גדול יותר מהכמות הכוללת של הזיכרון הפיזי הזמין. כאשר גודל קובץ החלפה הוא קטן יותר מגודל זיכרון RAMמוקצה זיכרון חדש, מה שמוביל לשימוש גבוהה יותר במעבד.

פתרון: הגדל את הגודל המינימאלי של קובץ ההחלפה

·         ודא שחשבון המשתמש שמבצע הליך זה הוא חבר בקבוצת מנהלי המערכת במחשב המקומי.

בדף מנהל השרתים(Server Manager), לחץ על שינוי מאפייני מערכת.

בתיבת הדו-שיח מאפייני המערכת, בכרטיסייה מתקדמת, באזור הביצועים, לחץ על הגדרות.

בתיבת הדו-שיח אפשרויות ביצועים, בכרטיסייה מתקדמת, במקטע הזיכרון הווירטואלי, לחץ על שנה.

בתיבה הדו-שיח הזיכרון הווירטואלי, בחר לנהל באופן אוטומטי גודל קובץ החלפה עבור כל כונני תיבת סימון או נקה את תיבת הסימון ולציין גודל קובץ החלפה ששווה או גדול יותר מהזיכרון הפיזי, כי הוא זמין במחשב. אנו ממליצים לך גם לאפשר למערכת לנהל את גודל קובץ הדף או להגדיר אותו ב 150% מגודלו של ה-RAM הפיזי.

לאחר שבצעת את השינויים הרצויים, לחץ על אישור, ולאחר מכן הפעל מחדש את המחשב כדי להחיל את השינויים.

Today I came across this error on 'Health Analyzer Reports' that found on Monitoring.

The paging file size should exceed the amount of physical RAM in the system

Rule Name:   The paging file size should exceed the amount of physical RAM in the system

Summary:   The paging file size on some servers in the SharePoint farm is smaller than the total physical memory that is available on the servers.

Cause:   A Windows best practice is to set the paging file size to equal to or greater than the total amount of available physical memory. Garbage collection is typically more effective at automatic recovery of heap memory when managed heap size approximates paging file size. When paging file size is smaller than RAM size, new allocations of managed memory are granted, which leads to more garbage collection and higher CPU usage.

Resolution:   Increase the minimum size of the paging file

1. Verify that the user account that is performing this procedure is a member of the Administrators group on the local computer.
2. On the Server Manager page, click Change System Properties.
3. In the System Properties dialog box, on the Advanced tab, in the Performance section, click Settings.
4. In the Performance Options dialog box, on the Advanced tab, in the Virtual memory section, click Change.
5. In the Virtual Memory dialog box, select the Automatically manage paging file size for all drives check box, or clear the check box and specify a paging file size that is equal to or greater than the physical memory that is available on the computer. We recommend that you either allow the system to manage the page file size or to set it at 150% of the size of the physical RAM.
6. When you have made the changes that you want, click OK, and then restart the computer to apply the changes.
