היום נתקלתי בבעיה שחוזרת אחרי כל התקנת SharePoint 2013, אני רואה כל כמה דקות את השגיאה הבאה ב-Event Log :

EVENT ID: 8321

A certificate validation operation took 120053.1569 milliseconds and has exceeded the execution time threshold.  

פתרתי את הבעיה ע"י מספר פעולות :

1.       הוספתי לקובץ Host בשרת את הכתובת הבאה

a.       127.0.0.1            crl.microsoft.com

2.       הוספתי את התעודה של ה-SharePoint ל- Trusted Root Certification Authorities לפי המאמר הזה (Workaround 1).

3.       ביטול האופציה " automatic update of root certificates " בשרת לפי אותו מאמר בסעיף 2 (Workaround 2).

4.       Reset למכונה.

לי זה פתר את הבעיה, אני מאמין שזה יפתור גם לכם  :)

Today I came across the problem persists after all the installations of SharePoint 2013, I see every few minutes the following error in the Event Log:

EVENT ID: 8321

A certificate validation operation took 120053.1569 milliseconds and has exceeded the execution time threshold.  

I solved the problem by several things:

1. Added to a Host file on the SharePoint server the following address

a. 127.0.0.1       crl.microsoft.com

2. Added the Certificate of the SharePoint Root  to Trusted Root Certification Authorities by this article (Workaround 1(.

3. Cancell the option "automatic update of root certificates" at the SharePoint server look in the same article in section 2 (Workaround 2).

4. Reset the machine.

For me it solved the problem, I believe it will solve you too :)

Can't Save Office Documents on SharePoint Document Library

שלום חברים,

היום נתקלתי בבעיה אצל אחד הלקוחות שלי שלא הצליח לשמור מסמכי Office ב-SharePoint.

אפרט בקצרה על התרחיש :

סביבה : SharePoint 2010 Enterprise Edition, תחנת קצה – Windows 7.

1.       משתמש יוצר מסמך חדש בספריית מסמכים באתר SharePoint.

2.       המסמך נפתח ב-Office Client בתחנת המשתמש, לצורך העניין WinWord.

3.       המשתמש מזין תכנים למסמך ולחוץ על שמירה.

4.       חלון שמירה נפתח אך ה-View של SharePoint אינו מוצג, במקום זאת מוצג View של Desktop של מערכת ההפעלה בתחנה.

5.       לא ניתן לשמור את המסמך ב-SharePoint.

·          הערה : מסמכים קיימים שנפתחים לעריכה כן נשמרים ל-SharePoint אבל כשלוחצים על פקד Save As הבעיה חוזרת.

לאחר בדיקה מעמיקה והרבה ניסיונות, מצאתי כי קובץ DLL בשם  MSONSEXT.DLL (msonsext.dll הוא מודול שקשור ל- SharePoint Portal Server) בתיקיה C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft shared\Web Folders היה בגרסה 11.0 שאיננה תואמת למערכת OFFICE המותקנת (2007 - 12.0).

כאשר החלפתי את הקובץ לגרסה מותאמת ל-2007, הפונקציונאליות חזרה והיה ניתן לשמור מסמכים שנוצרים מחדש ב-SharePoint.

לאחר עיון מעמיק יותר על קובץ ה-DLL הבנתי שב -Windows 7 הפונקציונאליות של Web Dav או תיקיות רשת קיימת כברירת מחדל, לכן ניסתי למחוק את הקובץ, וראיתי שזה עדיין עובד.

הDLL אחראי בעיקרו על Web Folders ולכן אינני רואה בעיה עתידית שקשורה ספציפית להחלפה או הסרה של הקובץ. גם בדרך כלל עדכונים יחליפו את הקובץ במידה ואיינו קיים.

לסיכום, המסקנה היא שכאשר מנסים ליצור קובץ ב-SharePoint, מערכת ההפעלה קודם בודקת אם יש את הקובץ המוזכר ובמידה וכן משתמשת בו.

במידה ולא קיים, היא משתמשת במה שקיים במערכת ההפעלה.

Today I found a problem in one of my clients who could not save Office documents in SharePoint.

I will elaborate briefly on the scenario:

Environment: SharePoint 2010 Enterprise Edition, the end station - Windows 7.

1. User creates a new document in a document library on a SharePoint site.

2. Document is opened in Office Client at the user station; let's say "WinWord."

3. The User adds content to the document and pressed save button.

4 . Save Dialog window opens but the View of SharePoint is not displayed, it is displayed instead of the Desktop View OS station.

5. The User could not save the document in SharePoint.

· Note: existing documents that are opened for editing are saved to SharePoint , but when you click the Save As button the problem are persists .

After depth review and many attempts , I found that the DLL file named MSONSEXT.DLL ( msonsext.dll is a module related to SharePoint Portal Server ) in the folder C : \ Program Files \ Common Files \ Microsoft shared \ Web Folders was at 11.0 version that is not compatible with the installed OFFICE ( 2007-12.0 (.

When I changed the file to other version adapted to 2007, the functionality was back and the user could save the documents that were created in SharePoint.

After more depth examination of the DLL I was realized that in Windows 7 the functionality of Web Dav folders existing by default, so I tried to delete the file, and saw that it still works.

The DLL is responsible primarily for Web Folders so I do not see a future problem specifically related to replacement or removal of the file. Also some updates will replace the file if the file doesn't exist.

For summary, the conclusion is that when we trying to create a file in SharePoint, the operating system first checks whether the file has mentioned and if so uses it.

If there isn't a file, it uses what exists in the operating system.

Get an error message when you open an Office file from SharePoint

שלום חברים,

היום נתקלתי בבעיה אצל אחד הלקוחות שלי, הלקוח לא הצליח ליצור מסמך חדש בספריית המסמכים. בכל פעם שהלקוח ניסה ליצור מסמך חדש הוא קיבל את ההתראה הבאה :

"The document could not be opened for editing. A Microsoft SharePoint Foundation compatible application could not be found to edit the document."

הבעיה נובעת מהסיבה שיש מגוון גרסאות שונות של Office מותקנות בתחנה הקצה ויש כמה גרסאות שונות ל -DLL OWSSUPP זמינות שלא רשומות בצורה נכונה. OWSSUPP.DLL שייך לרכיב ActiveX שנקרא  SharePoint OpenDocuments class זהו Add-On עבור Internet Explorer והוא האינטגרטור לפתיחת מסמכי Office מ-SharePoint.

כדי לבדוק את הגרסה של ה-OWSSUPP.DLL ב- Internet Explorer פתחו את הדפדפן, בחרו ב-Tools ולאחר מכן 

בחרו ב-Managed Add-ons, חפשו את SharePoint OpenDocuments class ושימו לב לגרסה:

12.0..  ל-  Office 2007

14.0..  ל-  Office 2010

15.0..  ל-  Office 2013

אז איך בעצם פתרתי את הבעיה :

ה- OWSSUPP.DLL מותקן כחלק מקטגוריית  " Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Support" בכלי Office.

כדי לפתור את הבעיה צריך ל"השבית" את Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Support בכל גרסה אחרת של Office המותקנת במחשב ולאחר מכן לבצע Repair ל-Office.

למשל אם במחשב עם Office 2010 וLync 2013 התקנתם " Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Support " לשתי הגרסאות (Lync 2013 הוא חלק מחבילת 2013 Office), עליכם להשבית את " Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Support " לLync 2013 ולאחר מכן לבצע Repair ל- Office 2010 כך שOWSSUPP.DLL ירשם ב-Registry.

כדי להסיר את ההתקנה " Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Support " עבור רכיבים שאינם מ- 2010 Office בצעו את הצעדים הבאים :

1.      עברו ללוח בקרה, תוכניות, הסר או התקן את ההתקנה של תכנית.

2.      עבור כל תכנית Office שאינה תכנית Office 2010, בחרו את הפריט ולחצו על שינוי, בחרו הוספה או הסרה של תכונות, לחצו על המשך.

3.      באפשרויות התקנה, הרחיבו את כלי Office, לחצו על " Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Support ", בחרו "Not Available" ולחצו על המשך. אתם חייבים לעשות את זה עבור כל תוכניות משפחת Office שאינן Office 2010 כולל גרסאות קודמות של Office Project או Visio.

4.      ברגע שסיימתם עם הצעד הקודם, בחרו מרשימת התוכניות ובחרו ב- Office 2010.

5.      לחצו על שינוי, בחרו תיקון, לחצו על המשך.

6.      בסיום העבודה בצעו אתחול מחדש לתחנה.

Hello Friends ,

Today I get a New problem from one of my clients , the client could not create a new document in the document library . Every time the customer tried to create a new document he received the following alert :

"The document could not be opened for editing. A Microsoft SharePoint Foundation compatible application could not be found to edit the document."

The problem stems from the reason that a variety of different versions of Office installed on the end- station and there are several different versions of DLL OWSSUPP available that records correctly.

 OWSSUPP.DLL belongs ActiveX component class called SharePoint OpenDocuments This Add- On for Internet Explorer and integrator for opening Office documents from SharePoint .

To check the version of the OWSSUPP.DLL on Internet Explorer open the browser , select Tools - and then select in Managed Add- ons Search SharePoint OpenDocuments class and note version :

12.0 .. to Office 2007

14.0 .. to Office 2010

15.0 .. to Office 2013

So how I solved the problem :

The OWSSUPP.DLL installed as part of the category " Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Support " in Office .

To solve the problem need for restitution, the “Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Support “ in any other version of Office installed on your computer and then make to Repair Office .

For example, if a computer with Office 2010 and Lync 2013 are installed  then " Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Support " has two versions ( Lync 2013 is part of the PRO 2013 Office ) , you must disable the " Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Support " for Lync 2013 , and then perform Repair for Office 2010 so that OWSSUPP.DLL will be register  in the Registry .

To uninstall the " Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Support " for components that are not from 2010 Office do the following :

1 . Go to Control Panel , Programs, Uninstall or install programs .

2 . For each Office program that is not Office 2010 program, select the item and click Change , select Add or Remove Features , click Continue.

3 . At the Installation options , expand Office Tools , click the " Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Support " , select " Not Available " and click Continue. You must do this for all the Office programs that are Office 2010 includes older versions of Office Project or Visio .

4 . Once you're done with the previous step , select from the list of programs and select - Office 2010.

5 . Click Change , select Repair , click Continue.

6 . At the end of work do reboot to the station.

It worked for me J
